And I'm really chuffed with it - especially since it's only my second car!
It's a 147 T Spark Lusso (1.6). I went out looking for a new car with nothing really in mind. I checked out the Focus Ghia which... y'know, it was nice and everything but it just felt a bit too 'common' (not that I have anything against Fords - I quite like 'em. I just wanted something a bit different).
Then, when I was about to give up hope, there she was. Took her for a test drive and fell in love, absolutely amazing...
Oh yeah, the introduction:
Hi! I'm Paul, I live in North West UK and I'm 22 years old.
Although I'm a far cry from a boy racer (don't even get me started on those buggers) I have been 'testing' my new 147 out a bit. I mean, it'd be rude not to really; especially since I've just come from my first car, an N reg Pug 106 Escapade (1.5 diesel). I got a little
too carried away tonight though and, like a complete idiot, pushed her a bit too far and hit the rev limiter in first. Lol, lame excuse but I'm still getting used to her... it's a big change from my diesel. Anyway lesson learnt, I'll never get anywhere near it again! I now know what she's capable of so seriously, that's *it*. I feel like a right numpty
just hope the engine isn't damaged from my idiocy.
Anyway, that's me. I probably sound like a complete idiot from that and yes, I admit, what I did was incredibly stupid but as I say, lesson learnt. I'm only 22! It's ok to have a bit of fun in a new car, right?
I'll be driving around like a granny from now on though
