penniless 156 owner!
just a quick hello, bought a '99 156 2ltr ts just in time for it to eat its own bottom end. cost me £1700 to get it fixed, partly under warranty, then had to have new maf, lamda sensor and air con pipes....but still i love it

Re: penniless 156 owner!
Welcome, and I had exactly the same on my Tspark GTV.... after I'd had a cambelt change!
Hopefully you've got the worst out of the way now. Good luck with it.

Re: penniless 156 owner!
thanks for the messages guys, still working out how this site works, and waiting for internet at home, one thing i will say about my alfa experience so far...replace the oil pump regularly!! mine went bang with no warning and ruined the crank shaft and a piston. just done an ecu reset and its now running like a dream! (at last)
