Re: pranged alfa 156 owner

yes it is a 99 alfa romeo 156, red, 146000 miles, six speed, i went into the back off a vectra in colchester and damaged the bonnet, passenger side wing and and bumper/skirting, also that fancy grill triangle thing needs replacing so i have been told, this all sounds fair on looking at it, im not a car person so i just go along with the flow, if anyone wants me to take pics, or come and see it just leave a post here and i will adhere to whatever you want, cheers steve

Re: pranged alfa 156 owner

thankyou very much, if i can fix it i will stay on here obviously, i got told alfas are liable to be expensive when they are broken, however its my fault, its a shame cars off this quality deppreciate so quickly, as it is a lovely car, it has the full ***** leather inside too, maybe if i can figure out how too i will upload some pics or put a url in so people can see the state of it, cheers for saying hello, hello to yourself too

Re: pranged alfa 156 owner

Hmm.. Difficult one this. Certainly costly to repair, but a nice set of leather seats and doorcards will get you two hundred quid. Might get a three or four hundred for the engine as well but the milage is high on it..

If you can't do all this yourself though your best bet it just to sell it for what you can get for it and go buy yourself another, it'll be cheaper in the long run unless your's is mint mechanically (ie you've spent LOADS on replacing EVERYTHING )
