got myself a v6 alfa!

Having just sold my Lotus Elise Sport 160, I thought the time had come to own another silly Alfa.

Having gone from Alfa 145 1.6 to Lotus Elise to Alfa 2.0 GTV to Lotus Elise, to Saab Convertible (don't ask) to Lotus Elise, I thought I should entertain the idea of a V6 alfa for once.

Sat on my driveway is a 2000 (w) 166 3.0V6 Super Lusso in that nice pearlescent silver/blue. The car had covered about 110 miles and I got it for £2,750... possibly a bit top-endy, but I couldn't be arsed to travel about lots.

So here we go again... it'll probably break down and cost me a fortune to run, but hey ho... you're only young once!

... One nice thing was the insurance... I'm only just 30 and for fully comp including business use for both myself and the wife, it was only £285 all in.... not bad!

thanks chaps....

for some odd reason, my membership from when i had my gtv seems to have disappeared. (it was a few years back now).

that car was a 2.0TS phase 1 in metallic black/blue/purple with black leather, eibach sport springs and 18" multi-spoke alloys (running on 35 profile rubber).... a real batmobile!

looking forward to getting back into the groove... i seem to have lotus and alfa in my blood now... never owned both at the same time, but may dip into another elise as a summer fun car.
