Well Happy Alfa OK Of course

Hello, I am new to this site and would like to tell you that I have had my 2000 156 for nearly 3years and it has not let me down, or broken down, or cost us a fortune, and I have done over 32,000mls in it. So it goes to show that newer Alfa's are just as reliable as the boring cars about. But I know which I would have. I liked my 156, but couldn't put the roof down in Summer, so I bought a '98 Spider last May, and I have already put 6,000mls on it, and once again it has cost me nothing!! So why do Alfa's seem to have a but name? I am so impressed with my Alfa, that's why I have 2.
Cheers to all things Alfa.

Obviously it's a world-wide conspiracy by those folks that brought us Pearl Harbour. You have proved that Alfas are the most reliable cars on this planet. What's ''but name"?? If you meant "butt name" I guess you were talking about R. Sole.

Welcome to AO.

They cost a fortune because people dont change the timing belt at the right time or check the oil on a regular basis

Oops.... I was caught out there with a spelling gremlin . My Alfa's may not be troublesome. I didn't say I was free from them!!!
Good spotting though, it meant to say 'bad'.
I can see why you own an Alfa.
