Hi, I'm the happy owner of an Alfa 156 2.4 Jtd. I've had the beast from new and apart from one bad dealership encounter have had no problems....till now.
Has anybody experienced or can explain why, at the moment, can inexplicably cut out (when warm), with the ECU warning message flashing up only to start after a 5 or 10 minute wait. The car starts first time every morning and evening, but if stop off anywhere will fail to restart until cooled down?
This is making calling the AA very difficult, as it tends to start before they arrive (saving me the embarrassment of starting when they turn up I suppose) and planning any journey that requires a few stops and starts.
It's just had a service (106000 miles ((trouble free I add))!) and they failed to find anything wrong.
