What a warm welcome. Thank you.
What a warm welcome, thank you all who responded. I'll have to get back to visit some of the 147/149 'Cloverleaf' threads- sounds an interesting debate.
And what an amazing collection of Italian thoroughbreds you guys own, from GTV's to Spiders, Sprints, 75's, 159's, 156 V6's to Massers. I spent some of my formative years working with a Sardinian Chef and from Lancia Beta VX's through a Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC to a fantastic Alfa 33 Boxer (complete with wood steering wheel, wood gearnob and squeaky clutch pedal!) - this is what got me started with Italian cars. Being a 15 year old passenger believing that the only reason to change up a gear was a chance to 'visit' the red line again. Are there any planned meets in or around Nottingham or the South coast coming up in November? It'd be a great chance to get the serious polish out for my 145 and an excuse to tackle some of the "individual" interior trim fittings that have decided to begin detatching themselves from the cockpit.
I'm constantly re-visiting Alfa-holics to see if a '72 GTV2000 ever somes into my price range as a 'project'.... never mind, I can only keep on looking, I'm sure one will come up one day soon.
