I need to say a special thanks to zaksystems on Ebay who repaired my main 2 button 156 key fob for introducing me to the forum.
I can and do recommend his excellent service, why pay in excess of £120 for a new key plus £30 for recoding the key fob when he can repair it for a fraction of this price, and by the way the above mentioned prices are + vat ouch!!!
Let me introduce myself, I live in Lincolnshire and have over the years owned numerous Alfa Romeos including initially a 1.7ie 33 (J415 KKK) with the great flat four, although maybe not with the build quality of a comparable VAG, it was certainly more fun!!
The 33 gave me the bug and was soon joined by an Alfetta GTV6
(A158 NCH) which was my pride and joy for several years, although my bank account did suffer with the maintenance and annual bodywork preservation. The mechanical work was carried out by the best within Lincolnshire (BLS automotive) with whom I can only recommend.
After a couple of years enjoying the VAGs best G60 Corrado (which is now in mothballs) I have returned to stylish/pasionate mark yet again although due to the excessive mileage for work purposes it is a diesel
although it had to be a 156 2.4JTD Veloce Sportwagon.
Looking forward to when the Wifes Golf turbo requires replacing with a more stylish affair.
Regard to all Alan
