Well that escalated quickly!!!

Well after many years of procrastinating I finally took the plunge - and in a big way, buying a '07 159 JTS 2.2 sight unseen on an auction site - clearly mad, but at least I'm now part of the brotherhood!

1 owner. Full service history. Books. Great duco and a raft of electrical gremlins giving me grief!

Yesterday was a new battery, camshaft sensor and a crankshaft sensor is on order - welcome to the world of Alfa ownership :/

At the age of 17 I fell in love with an Alfetta (no idea what model), but was promptly talked out of it by my old man who had a phobia of 'exotic' cars. 23 years later I've finally bought the toy that I lusted after so many years ago.

Looking forward to learning a lot and making some new friends - wish me luck, I feel I'm in for an interesting experience!!

Thanks folks - things are looking good. Swapped out the cam sensor and the crank sensor and she's running like a dream.

Needs a polish and a clean, but I'm really quite happy with the purchase.

Great forum. Looking to learn a lot!
