New 1750 GTV owner says hello

Great looking forum! I just purchased my first Alfa since owning a LHD Giallo Ocra 1750GTV for a few years in the early 80's when I was in my 20's. I wanted to buy the same model as I had then (a Mark 1) and in the same colour. I managed to find a RHD Mark 2 car in Giallo Ocra in very good unmolested original condition in a dealer in New Zealand and am in the process of importing it to the UK. But the much more exciting one I've also just purchased and already have here at home is actually the UK 2007 concours winner, a LHD Mark 1 car in Grigio Indaco with original burgundy interior (no doubt some members will remember it). Condition of body, interior and mechanics is all A++ as you can imagine. It's just brilliant to be back in a 1750 GTV again after all these years! What a car. Why on earth didn't I get another one years ago?? Anyway, very glad to be joining this forum and hope to connect with other 1750 GTV owners in my area and nationally!

Re: New 1750 GTV owner says hello

I meant to ask - does anyone know of a left hand drive Mark 1 1750 GTV in generally good all round condition but particularly with a superb original interior in black? I am looking for one as a project to bring up to concours standard. I need to end up with a black interior and will repaint in Giallo Ocra. To achieve the right standard it will help enormously if the interior is in great original condition and none of the hard-to-find parts are missing from the car.
