Alfa's and Classic Mini's
Pleased to meet you all, dunno if I'm starting right but here goes anyway.
My name is Giorgio and I'm now retired even though I would still like to be part of the working force but we have this crisis thing, so thats put an end to my whim.
Long time back when I lived in Kent I used to go nuts with Mini's during my apprenticeship (I started off as a 'lekie), later I worked in the aerospace field with ground aircraft power supplies. Now, in my spare time and 50 years later I'm still fiddling around with 'em, the Mini's I mean.
Now living in Montebelluna I prefer DIY'ing when possible in most fields, I've gone through BMW 2002ti, AR's GTV, 75TD, 164 2.0TS and now 166 2.0TS. To keep myself busy I frequently dabble in mechanicals, PC's, repair household electricals, and the occasional brickwork around the house.
I'm a "waste not want not" thingy so don't throw that rusty nail away or that electrical gadget it's sure to come in handy. I regularly shop on eBay for my bits and pieces just to keep things working. Could be Pensioners syndrome maybe...
