Estimates for work on 3.0
I've recently purchased a late '99 GTV 3.0 with 91k on the clock. She had £3000 spent on her in last two years. I've given her a selenia oil change and I've assessed that it will need the following done over the next 3-4 months. I want to leave it as long as possible and do all the work in one go.
I'm going to need:
cambelt and tensioners etc, small service, offside fog lamp, airbag sensor light fixed, one front wheel bearing (or is it the suspension rubbing on the sub-frame?), one manifold downpipe (told these are about £135 plus vat), MOT.
I've also got the occasional floorboard knocking sound from the front - is it likely to be bushes, arms, both? What sort of money are we looking at here. (It as had rear bushes and arms done).
I know I'm looking at comfortably over a grand here, but obviously I'm trying to get this work done as competently an cheaply as possible - it should then set me up for a good 10-12k miles, which is about 18 months for me.
Any Advice much apprciated
