Hi, I'm Monstro3.7
I've been an Alfisti for over 25years. I have owned a number of Alfas & now as I split my time between my 2 homes, 1 in South Africa & the other in Greece (try to avoid winters!!) I own 2X147GTA's, one in each of the countries of course, both super modified but following 2 seperate routes, the one uses forced induction & the other is enlarged to 3.7L.
I'm good mates with Jano at Autodelta & with another world famous Alfa tuner, a South African by the name of Dawie De Villiers, owner of Glenwood Motors. He is presently putting together a 85' Alfa GTV6 3L fitted with a 3.4L 24V twin turbo monster motor but more about that later.
Being a mechanical engineer by profession & having dabled with cars for many years, having owned the original SA built GTV6 3L to Group 1 spec, I have combined the best of Jano's bits along with Dawies. Dawie built my 147GTA in SA obviously so here goes. I will tell you guy's about my South African GTA which was also featured in the local version of MaxPower magazine in February 2007.It is rated as the most monstrous 147GTA in normally aspirated form on the globe, they say & I have run the car at 3 different stages, learn't what works & what doesn't, I will share my experiences with you guy's on the forum who wish to upgrade any V6 Alfa.

The car has won the South African Alfa Club concourse as well as the track sprint events.
For those interested in it's performance figures:
on 95RON ignition/fuel map-385hp@7600rpm & 390Nm@5700rpm
on 102.6ROn ingnition/fuel map-412hp@7650rpm & 440Nm@5700rpm
Note that on both maps it holds 300Nm + from 1800-8000rpm limiter.
The cars performance has been phenomenal & I've had no reliability issues even covering several long trips in SA of 1400km distance one way!!!
Kills M3's & RS4's, thought you guys would like that.
My car in Greece is identical except it's in Pearl White, runs identital chassis mods, wheels etc..........engine is 3.2L with supercharger(Novitec) big 86mm TB.......doesn't however hit my wild 3.7s output, it pumps around 355hp/450Nm.
So that's me, an Alfa nut!!!!!!
