156 2.5 V6 power problem!
Hey everyone.
First time on here and so far already got some good info about my car. Ive got a 1999 T 156 2.5 V6 and im having some power problems when i pull away in first and second gear, this only seems to happen when the engine is warm. Also ive noticed when the engine is warm when i put the clutch down the revs drops past idling and the car cuts out. Does anyone know what this fault could be.

It could be the MAF sensor mate, these cost about £150 or so I believe.

Don't ask me what the MAF does though or where it is located, I have no idea, lol.

I have just read alot of threads regarding this problem and more often than not it is the MAF.

I could be wrong though and am sure someone will soon correct me if this is the case, lol.

Jason156 had his changed recently so if he spots this hopefully he can give you more insight.
