Re: 156 Selespeed
I took the plastic undertray off my last 3 cars (155, GTV, 156) as they are a waste of time.
Have you got the sportspack suspension?
My understanding is that they are to help the EU drive-by noise test, I'm also sure they help keep water out of the air intake, but for how often they ground - I just take them off.
The bolts on the front cross member are worn down, but I don't think I've ever managed to 'yump' the car hard enough to actually hit the sump.
I've bent a few suspension components, but missed the sump so far.
I hated the Continentals, but Alfa had a deal at the time where you got 4 17" rims & FREE Yoko's so I got them, sold the Selespeed wheels and the net effect of not having to buy 2 Conti's was free wheels & tyres.
I'd highly recomend the Avon's, I've used their tyres since the legendary Turbospeeds were THE tyre for tarmac road rallying in the 1980's.
