hi everyone hows it going just found this forum and it's top stuff i am in stevenston ayrshire scotland and this is my second alfa the first one being a 75 2ltr ts. i wish i had found it under better circumstances as i was looking for a cylinder head for my 156 sportswagon 2.4 jtd 10v when i discovered this site. the auxiliary belt split which got caught up on the crank pulley which snapped the timing belt which snapped the cam pulley and bent some valves so if anyone has a a head for sale can you email or pm me.....cheers and brilliant site

It sounds like a very rare set of occurrences to me dude... no matter what make of vehicle it happens on !!

The petrol guys have issues with cambelts going but not too sure about Aux belts

JTD cambelts tend to go for longer too but given what happened to you that's not really relevent is it
