Help Hi, new member and needs help with Selespeed problems
Hi, I bought my Alfa around a year ago and love it! I have an Alfa 156 Sportwagon Selespeed version, which I have found quite good to be honest.
Recently, I am getting the failure sign on the dashboard and the gear gets stuck, then reverts back to 'N' once stationary. after a few moments (annoying moments for others) then it goes away and I can continue.
I can go a few days without this problem, then in one 5 mile journey it occurs several times. Then it does not happen again?
Do i need a new gearbox, is it just a slight malfunction and needs a servicde/etc

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Not familiar with selespeeds myself - try the Technical and Vehicle assistance for your car - access via the Forums link at the top of the page
