is/was alfa lover

hello evryone, need help please! had my alfa 147 while now, loved it. untill recently when stupid me lost my keys! costly to replace? first caladonian dealer told me bring car in to program keys £200 ish but may need new body computer so thought it was little strange so rang another alfa romoe dealer 30 miles away (closest) they said no way does it need new ecu so paid to get it toed up there where they programmed the keys to the car and sent me on my way since then the car brakes down few times just cuts out with asr failure esb failure motor board failure imobaliser failure and so on too many to list so sent it back and told um maybe the ecu was faulty like the first caladonia dealer stated. he was havin none of it, blamed the battery ,loose wiring, rev sensor none fixed the problem though lol thing is his technician was"best around" phoned alfa custumer relation who have "guided me" through this ordeal told me to be patient and let them do the work needed and thay would try to get costs back. Anyhow get a call from alfa dealer tellin me it maybe the ecu afterall but thay dont know weather its the fuel injection ecu or the main body ecu and it would cost me at least £900 for new ecu with no guarantee. Told alfa relations who fobbed me off and told me 2 speak to tradin standards lol, please help, soon to be ex alfa romeo lover went to pick it up yesterday and wont even start just says immobileser failure so had to get it toed home PS not drove my car for six months. PLS PLS reply

Hi and welcome. Sounds like the ecu/electrics are fried. Sorry you have recieved the same shiiiiiiiiiitttttt experience with alfa dealers and national team as countless millions.

Have you tried speaking with some indipendant garages over the phone.
Good luck.
