been reading the traffic on iPod solutoions for the 159. Picked up my 2.4JTDM Sportwagon with Satnav last month with a great deal from Autolusso. Car is fabulous but such a shame it does not have the Blue&me option. Got a sim card for the integral phone and it works fine but it is only a half solution as callers need to guess your location (in car/out of car) and swapping SIM from car to phone is just not practical except on long journeys.
I am surprised that the cable solution for an ipod has not been solved yet - I'd easily pay £100 for a cable that sits in the glove box and integrates with steering wheel controls, head unit display and facilitates 99 tracks per radio station as playlists. There are so many iPod accessories out there -designers gert working, this is not beyond the wit of man.
I could use the 6 CD changer, (shame it does not recognise mp3) but that is a bit retro - all we want is our ipod integration......
