I am new to this forum and found my way here from the Ducati Sporting Club forum. I am an Italian motorcycle fan (over 20 odd years) and I am thinking of getting an AR to compliment the Duke. I am considering a GTV or Spider in the £5 - £8k range. I am looking for something that will be fun to drive and own and different from the norm and definitely Italian. It won't be used daily, just for odd days and weekends away (Just like the Duke really).

I have found this forum really useful and it has given me loads of great advice on what problems to look for etc. Then the decisions, do I want a TS or a V6 - it could take me months just to decide what I want!

if you buy a TS you'll regret not buying a V6 the Arese V6 is one of the great engines of all time especially as it;s not for a daily driver...

I suspect my heart may over-rule my brain when it comes to the TS or V6 decision or is it a no brainer?

I suspect the main problem is going to be finding good Spiders and GTV's to test drive in my area. They seem to be few and far between

I've just been to see a yellow Spider V6 and I must say it is very nice in all respects but not too sure about the colour!

I will try to see a few more before I make my mind up
