Newbie wonders if this is the forum where we share that emotion?
In a wave of austerity measures, I and a couple of collegues were announced by our employer that we would have to leave the company cars and find our own transport to come to work. What at first seemed like a demotivating measure, perhaps even degrading because I had been allowed to use the car only to drive to work and back home, quickly turned into a liberating expercience.
My days of driving German cars were suddenly ended buying a 159 Jtdm berlina in grigio titanio with a red leather interior.
Could I have imagined this would change my life?
After more than 10 years I experienced the pleasure of driving again!
In fact I love driving to work in the morning now, bringing the kids to wherever they want to be driven, traffic jams, .... all those traffic related issues I got fed up with are over since I have the 159. Le bonheur est simple, it is called Alfa Romeo.
Funny thing is that no one seems to understand. Owners of French, German or Japanese cars say it is nothing but a midlife crisis. Poor guys.
Is this the forum where we share that emotion?
