Re: Heart broken

Sorry to hear about you 156 Max.

If it is very bad, I would just buy up.
If you can live with it keep her.

Welcome to AO

Re: Heart broken

Just got mine back after a guy ran oin to the back of it. I really thought it was going to be written off (the offside rear wheel was at 45o to the line of the body) but these babies are a lot stronger than you think. They've completely replaced th rear suspension, new linkages and wheel. They also replaced the rear quarter panels. The car is now as good as new and handles just as well as it did before hand. If anything the 'Shutlines' around the boot lid are better than they were.

Re: Heart broken

Hi Max, and welcome to AO

My advice is to get quotations on repairs from a couple of reliable agents, with a view to sticking with your 156.

If you would actually prefer to move on to a 159 you will still need to achieve the maximum resale or trade-in value on your 156.... so do the sums before you make you decision.

Re: Heart broken

Welcome to AO, sorry to hear about the Ti..

Are you having to pay for the repair yourself?
