Alfas old and new

Hi. I am on my 7th Alfa over many many years.

My first car was a rusty yellow hand-me-down Alfasud. But it drove better than anything else at the time.

I followed it with 3 different Alfasud Sprints, one 1.5 and 2 veloce limited editions. Still think that was one of the best designed cars of the 70s.

I then reached beyond my abilities, attempting to turn a 70s GTV into a "Milano". A kit car that kept all the mechanicals and interior, putting them in a new chassis and convertible fibreglass body. The maker went out of business and I never completed the project (sold it on).

It was a long time until I returned with a 156 selespeed sportswagon. It was totally reliable, but a mechanic persuaded me to sell it anyway.

Now we have, as my wife's daily driver, a Giulietta Multiair Veloce. Unfortunately it is a failed multiair unit that has brought me to the forum. I am hoping it will be back to health very quickly!
