new to forum!
new to forum here! i came here because i have a 1987 alfa spider quadrofolio that's being restored and am seeking knowledge...jk. any thoughts on this post would be greatly appreciated!
i recently moved to richmond, va and as i said, i'm restoring my alfa. i need someone to work on the brakes. the car routinely had a brake problem where it would eat brake pads, and i took it to at least four shops in wilmington, nc (where i used to live). they all said they fixed the problem - but no go. so, i spent somewhere around 2 grand and now i need new brakes, or so i'm told, because i gave up for awhile and parked it. sound right? i had almost new brakes since i kept replacing everything before i parked it, so any thoughts on it would be great!
i did call the international auto in charlottesville, but they really didn't want to recommend anyone.
as for history on the car...i bought it from peter krause @ krause & england - it's a different name now. he's a great guy, and if i could get it to raleigh i'd let his guys work on it, but am hoping there's someone local! thanks again!
