Not Happy frustrated Alfa owner

Hi, I have owned my alfa 156 2.4JTD Sportwagonfor over 3 years, and have suffered from loads of problems which have not been sorted by either of the 2 main dealers in N Ireland. I want to like the car, but cannot due to these problems (mainly due to frustration with the dealer's attitudes).
I am close to selling the car and being left with the conclusion that Alfa ownership is a frustrating and expensive experience.
Can anyone give me hope?

Re: frustrated Alfa owner

Welcome - May I suggest you search some of the threads for suggestions of independent dealers in NI - I was infinitely happier with my Alfa (and the Fiat before that) once I abandoned the dealers and found a good independent garage. I am sure I have seen a link with some recommendations. Good luck and hang in there!

Re: frustrated Alfa owner

Hi Davy, Im from N.Ireland too, only had my 156 3 months now, love it like mad. There is an all Ireland Italian Motor gathering on the 19th of june at the cultra transport musem. Im heading, hoping to meet some people that might put me in the right direction of good independant mechanics near me. Put it into a search if you want to know any directions times etc. Might see you there, Good luck
