Potential MiTo owner - Melbourne, Australia

Hey all,

Just thought I would introduce myself here, before I go back to the MiTo section of the forum and pester those guys some more.
I consider myself a car enthusiast and as such, I have always wanted an Alfa. I hate cars that are used as tools to get from A to B. I think a car should have character and personality, and that is what an Alfa is to me.
I was initially interested in the Brera, but the Salespeed nightmare completely put me off. I also hated the way it handled. It was annoying, because everything else about it was awesome. At the time, I wasn't interested in any other Alfa's, so I got a C30 instead.

The C30, at the time, was the only other car within my budget that did everything I wanted. It was fast, sounded awesome with a 5pot turbo, very comfortable yet good handling, and looked different.
I did a few modifications to it, such as:
-Most of the elevate go fast bits, (ELEVATE C30 (2007 to 2013) | Elevate Cars), including a stage 3 tune. (around 220KW/300hp. 0-100kph in 5.7sec)
-Bilstein Coilovers
-Elevate big brake kit
-chassis bracing
-Team dynamic wheels
-plus various other mods.

Although I still love C30, especially the heated leather seats and keyless start, every three years I get an itch and I can't help myself. I always find myself looking for something different after owning the same thing for three years.

This time I decided I want something smaller and more agile......and it had to be an Alfa. Despite the C30 having a lot of suspension and chassis modifications, there was nothing I could do about the car being nose heavy (that turbo 5pot weighs a lot), and the steering rack ratio was too slow.
That's where the MiTo comes in. Although much slower, it seems to be more fun to drive. Maybe not in a straight line, but definitely around corners. The C30's speed was useless here, as I could barely use it before getting nabbed by a speed camera.

Anyway, enough from me. I'm off to find a MTo
Anyone want a C30?
