I have been an Alfa owner twice over the last twenty years. My first Alfa being a 1.5 Super Alfasud which was a great handling car and gave me plenty to do at weekends by chasing rust patches around the bodywork!
My lastest car is a 2.0 TS GTV in Tropical Green which I have had for the last six years. It has been a very reliable and enjoyable car until recently when the Head gasket decided to go on holiday! I have had quotes at between £800 to £1150 to get it fixed and being Cornish and so relatively tight fisted I decided to fix it myself!
One problem though I have got to the point where I am trying to remove the two bolts that connect the underside of the inlet manifold to the engine block mounted stay bracket and am completely stumped as to how to get them undone as access is a nightmare! Does anyone have any tips?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
