been plucking up courage to say hi for a while now so here goes...
Actually been an alfa owner since 2001 at the ripe old age of 24. i still have the same one, a rossa red 1990 series 4 spider. Always been into cars and at the time i was looking at corrados or other future classics but so glad i got me a bit of Italian thoroughbred (garage bills aside
) I think i was very lucky with my purchase, bought it when i lived in Dundee in Scotland from a lovely wee lady in the next town who had owned it from new and had only done 40K. Currently it is in 'car ITU' at my local garage getting some long overdue bodywork repair done (although recent garage report is that is being transferred to the general garage area as the spider is now in more stable condition). Main work is front wings, sills and rear wings although when they removed the rear bumper they found 'holes the size of dinner plates' under the spare tyre disguised with a loose covering of rust
Anyway other than that i will try and do some picture uploading stuff when it is all bonnie again. i was toying with the idea of buying a wind deflector as when you are on the motorway its pretty tiring if you are going any distance, but i worry if it will spoil the look of the classic spider? any thoughts welcome.
I would love to have had him ready for the Scottish Italian car day but no such joy
Car is being restored by Edward Labinjoh of Edinburgh who is quite possibly the most well informed alfa man i have ever met!
