3.0 gtv performance chip

i'm sure you've talked about this before but i've just had my alfa chipped & i what to know who else has done it & what they thought of it. Personally i found there is a noticeable difference but not as good as what i expected. So is it worth getting a carbon intake system or will that kill my airflow meter? Alas i have no one else to ask apart from the tuners but i get the impression they may be a bit biased.

Re: 3.0 gtv performance chip

Hello and welcome.

You really need to take some time to search through some threads - you'll find loads of them on the subject and some very varied opinions.

Have to ask though: exactly what sort of performance chip are you referring to? The term "performance chip" usually (but not always) means the resistor you connect to the AFM or MAF. If that's the case, I'm saying no more on the matter than chuck it in the bin.

Carbon intakes. Hmmm. Expensive and mostly cosmetic.

Thanks.

It was basically a remap by autodelta but i'm sure once i've read some of the threads i know if i've done the right thing or not.

Your right though opinions do vary.

That's quite a different thing to the ebay cr@p. Definitely on my "approved list"
