Engine gets to cold
Hey Peeps, I'm new to this website so im still learning.
I have a question.. I have a Alfa 156 1.8 twinspark build in 2000.
I know for a fact that before I can drive fast I need to make the car hot enough else my engine will get messed up.
But I still don't know when the car is hot enough.
When my engine is hot and I drive on the highway the temp quickly drops down to 50oC so way too cold. As soon as I stop my engine gets hot again (normal temp 70 oC). Is this normal that my temp drops down so fast and so cold when I'm on the freeway? And if my temp drops when I'm driving is it still okay to give full throttle?
Any help will be appreciated!
