Hi all,
I have just purchased my first Alfa, a 1999 2 litre Spider and I am very impressed.
Once I have had it serviced I may look at a few mods such as some sort of body kit. Any suggestions?
Also, mine has velour seats and not leather as all the other Spiders that I looked at had.
Why is this, was leather an extra?
Can I get seats fairly easily and, if so, where and how much, roughly.
I live in Maidstone, Kent.
Stone chips to the bonnet need to be dealt with but this apears to be a common problem.
Any help, advice etc will be very gratefully received.
Cheers all.

Re: Newby

Hello and welcome
Cloth seats usually mean a non-Lusso model, pretty rare on a Spider I would have thought
If the stone chipping is quite bad, a bonnet respray is the best bet, bank on around £300.

Re: Newby

Thanks for the welcome you lot.
I have had the service and all is ok except new discs & pads are required all round.
How easy would this be for me to do?
What is the procedure?
I have very limited technical knowledge.
Also, any suggestions on where is the least expensive place to buy the discs etc and should I upgrade to grooved & drilled, I don't want to spend too much at present?
What are the best pads for normal road use.
All help / suggestions very welcome.
