I have been told that the rattle could be the front pipe mounting bracket, which can be thrown away as the manifold nd CAT joint are sufficient to hold the front pipe?
I'm a little sceptical though, as if it goes wrong my nearest dealer is about 45 miles away as Reg Vardys' have lost all the franchises in the North East.
On the subject of the cambelt changes; I have been quoted £300 for cambelt, tensioner, balancer shaft belt and labour; that's at a small local outfit who I have been assured have all the locking tools and have done Alfas before (is that what they all say?). Reasonable, do you think?
