Just joined the Clan and purchased my first Alfa; a Red Brera 2007 3.2 V6 JTS Q4 SV.
See link below for the dealers ad!

I managed to knock a few hundred quid of the ad price as well and the dealer informs me that it has a performance exhaust fitted which adds 10 BHP and another forum user here seems to think it is the Alfatunes exhaust system.
Not really been much of a car person up to now as you can probably tell by the fact that my last car was a 1998 Skoda Felicia estate which I have had from new. (Damn good car mind you I have to say although somewhat lacking in street cred! My girlfriend hated it! LOL!) Anyway the old Ploda was on it’s last legs so she had to go.
I had no preconceived ideas about what I wanted as a replacement and I don’t really do high miles in a car anyway as I am an Offshore Supply vessel Captain so in any case spend 6 months of the year away from home in the North Sea.
So clearly I don’t use a car for commuting so big displacement engines and fuel costs are not really an issue and I fancied something with a bit of oomph!
Also I have for the last 30 years been a Harley owner and rider so much of my mileage is done on 2 wheels. Also makes up a bit for the lack of street creed with the Skoda!
Anyway I wandered into the dealers linked to above just for a look see and saw this beast and from that moment on I just had to have it!
Came back a few days later and after a few minutes haggling it was mine! The car just jumped out an grabbed me, it truly is a thing of beauty!
The car is immaculate and so far I am loving it! Oomp it most definitely has in droves!
It came with an MOT valid until Aug 2015 with no advisories. Also the dealer gave a 3 month warranty and he also did an oil and filter change but I may get it checked over by an Alfa dealer sometime soon in case anything amiss but so far seems all good.
Anyway here’s an external link to some pics taken by me!
