My passion for Alfas started thanks to my dad, who owned several Alfas, of which I particularly remember one: a 166 2.5 litre beauty about 15 years ago. I can still remember the purr...!
Anyway, having dreamed of owning an Alfa since I got a driver's license and pondering for MONTHS which one to get, I finally took the plunge a couple of months ago, when I found a lovely 147 Ducati Corse on autotrader. There are only roughly 230 of these in the UK
It had been owned by 2 lady owners before, who clearly took care of it. I bought it despite the relatively high mileage for the 09 plate, about 70k miles, but I hear the 1.9 Diesels run for ages.
It's got lovely leather interiors with red stitching and Ducati Corse logos on it, very comfortable! The engine is the 1.9 JTD 16v which produces a soothing 170bhp
It also has sexy 18" wheels, but these could definitely do with a nice refurb. Speaking of which, I live in Leamington Spa: does anyone know a good honest Alfa specialist in the area?
So far it has been amazing, I absolutely love it to bits!
