Returned to Alfa

Evening all

Back in my 20's or 1980's, as they also were, I had 3 Alfasuds. My final one was a fab white 1.5ti (NKU 403X ) which had a lovely set of slightly wider tracked alloys giving a great drive & to which I lashed a pair of Cibie Oscar Plus headlights. Woe betide anyone who cut me up!! It broke my heart when I had to sell it as I got my 1st company car. A beige 1.6L Ford Orion.

A couple of years ago I finally had to buy my own car. I couldn't find anything I liked but eventually came across a nice 35k miler 147 Q2 from the local dealer in Chelmsford & it was such a good drive I picked it up straight away.

It's taken me back 30 years & I really enjoy it. I've lurked on the forums here for a while, taking tyre advice etc. from threads & then when I needed a serious recommendation a week ago, the water pump & cam belt went, I found out that Sunnyside are still where they were & as good as they were in the 80's.

So thanks for that & I'm sure to ask more questions at some stage.

Thanks both.

Definitely found the forums useful & particularly when I needed to put some new tyres on. Some good advice & opinions in several threads, which is what I came for. Really happy with my eventual choice of Goodyears.
