New member with a 70s Alfa GTV 2000
Hi, this is my first time posting here (obviously).
well i received a 70s Alfa GTV 2000 (mech. fuel injection) for graduation (high school) that my uncle has left sitting in his garage for over a decade. Its red in color and obviously isnt running. Its still sitting there as i type this. my questions are:
How much would it be to get it back to running condition (US$)? (i'm pretty sure that throwing in a new battery is the least of it)
How long would it take?
How much of it can i do myself? (I have an old service manual as well.)
Where is a reputable shop in So. Cal?
Where can i get parts? What do i need for a car that's been sitting for about 14 years?
Can it be made reliable for a daily driver?
and last of all: is it worth it?
i also have a 93 acura integra I use as a daily driver, i have some DIY experience with it like oil changes, headunit replacement (crimped my own harness), shifter replacement...easy stuff.
