which cars do you drive and why?
Alfa 156 2.4 JTD (I can only afford 1 car at a time

When I was younger my mum always had Fiats and my first 3 cars were Fiats too (2 Punto’s and a Bravo). I killed my Bravo in a flood in Dec 2006 and decided I was gonna get a Bravo HGT or a Fiat Coupe 20vt, problem was I couldn’t find any nice ones. I then had a brainwave about owning a big diesel and remembered I liked 156’s when they first came out so I had a look and voila…I got me one! In hindsight, I should’ve got the V6 since I don’t really do that many miles (I commute on the bus).

Any Italian cars really.
What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?
I have a passion for cars, not Alfa particularly. I have to admit that sometimes when I’m thinking about me owning Alfa, I get a broad smile across my face.
Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?

What do you like most about Alfas?
They’re not common and they can make a grown man giddy with excitement!
What do you like least about Alfas?
They’re difficult to work on. What are the 156 sidelights all about?

Bugatti Veyron.
What car would you least like to drive?
I think I’ve driven it – a Kia Mentor 2.

What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?
2 minutes drive from my house and I’m in the great Scottish countryside, nothing beats that for a driving experience. I’m not too fussed about the destination, it’s the drive that matters.
Passenger – would rather concentrate on my driving pleasure but if a passenger was mandatory...a(ny) horny lady.
As for music, I’ve recently been dabbling in AC/DC – they surely do rawk.
Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?
Bit dirty this…but I was once getting intimate with a girl in the back seat of my Bravo during a fireworks display and she started relieving herself over me and the car, you can only laugh. I should say I finished what I started
What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
Love films, music, gaming. Have done quite a lot of traveling recently too which is enjoyable. Also reading non-fiction books.

It’s very informative, I can be a bit of a geek.
If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?
I’d buy a flat and pimp out the Alfa with the change.
If I was dying in 72 hours it’d have to be drugs, hookers and renting a lambo for 3 days – I’ve never done any of the 3 so I might as well go out with a bang.
