Ray, welcome to AO
AO is not always a terribly friendly place when nerves are exposed, although generally it really is one of the best forum around (and definitely the best Alfa forum)
Based on years of experience in places like this, I could see straight away you weren't gonna get a great response by rocking up to a well established thread concerning the many issues with a certain company, where people are down by some sums of money (myself included, admittedly less than £100) and posting what amounted to one of the only successful orders that anyone has heard of.
If you haven't already, do a Google for Gazella Racing - it's shocking this guy is still trading.
Over the years, there have also been several instances where traders have set up fresh user accounts and posted messages in support of themselves. So me being a cynical barsteward, thought this was another instance.
I apologise, if you are one of the genuine Alfa fans who has signed up and got embroiled on their very first day, but perhaps you can see why I said it looked a bit fishy. Please don't let it put you off, just stand your ground and get involved in other threads - it'll blow over
Yes I can assure you and everyone else that I am just an Alfa enthusiast, I have a Zoe Yellow Spider TS 2000 model with the blue style interior, love her to bits I does, but feeling a bit frustrated at the moment because I can't drive her very far, have an infection in my left leg due in no small part to ulcers, it will get better, but it's always a slow old job.
If anybody wants to check me out, they can ask Lui at LB Autos at Somerton about me, he did my last cambelt change, and I have already mentioned Graham Eddy Motori at Penzance, he fitted the dreaded Gazzella Racing bits.
I hope you can understand my feeling a bit put out by all this, it's not nice for folk to be ripped off, it goes on far too much these days, though I can't help but wonder how many like me have had a perfectly normal transaction with Gazzella Racing?
Anyway, I have had enough of this, I have presented my credentials as much as I can on an open forum, if that aint good enough then tough, it's as good as it's gonna get.
