Hey all

Hi guys, great forum here, very helpful and friendly unlike many others!
My names Chris, Im a 20 year old med student from northern ireland and Im seriously considering a 156 2.4 jtd, please see my other thread in the 156 section! Ive only ever owned what are considered "unreliable" cars by the masses ie ford ka, rover 200vi and pug 106 gti, so guess I can empathise with you guys already

never fear with realiability if you get a good well serviced and looked after example...and as for the "Italian Gremlins"...you'll learn to love them ....

Re: Hey all

Welcome

All we hear is about how unreliable alfa's are. My 147 has gone 6 years and 60,000 miles and has never missed a beat. Look after your alfa and it'll look after you!

Re: Hey all

Hello there Chris, good to see another member from good old "Norn Iron"

Once you drive an Alfa it'll be hard to move onto anything else, these cars are amazing on the road

Regardless what others think of reliability, just drive one and you'll be smitten, whatever it throws at you

Re: Hey all

Hi mate, welcome to AO

Alfa reliability these days is as good (or as bad ) as other European marques.
