alfa new boy

hello everybody
new boy here!
very thankful to have stumbled across your forum as i have just
purchased a 96 164 twinspark for no other reason than it was cheap.
and , as you already know, have found that good old Haynes do not produce a manual for this model.
I have never driven an alfa before and have to say that i am really impressed , so much so that i am already contemplating a v6.
unfortunately stupidity runs thick and fast through the male side of my family, and having noticed that my friendly local breakers has a
v6 164 with complete engine have started to ponder the possibility of swapping the 2ltr for the v6.
lastly my car has what is presumably a warning light showing that looks very much like a red fuel injector, can anybody let me know what it means.
best regards Davidohooligan
