Its a 1991 Alfa Romeo 164 "l" 3.0 liter v6 FWD 146,000 miles. its been set up 4 years and would not run. I first, added new gas and octane boost, water absorbers, and stabilizers to the fuel. Then, Sprayed starter up the intake. it would not sustain running but, at least i knew it was able. I changed the oil, 8 quarts BTW, changed the fuel pump available at NAPA, fuel filter, Auto Zone, put in a new battery (huge ,like used on busses in the trunk) and replaced fuel lines. It ran, and the engine is quite musical to the ears. then, it got warm and left me stranded. I replaced the coil. bad for getting warm and quiting on you.....now it runs great. I am replacing the rubber doughnuts that suspends the exhaust........ so far.
