New to Group (Cape Town Area)
Just joined the group, but been an Alfa owner for the past 14 years. Actually, I learned to drive in the mid-1980's in a 1963 Giulia 1600, which was an amazing car even in the 1980's.
I was a passenger in a 156 selespeed in London in 2000 and fell so in love with it, that I bought a 2.0L silver 156 shortly after I returned home. Wood dash and steering wheel. In 2005 I upgraded to a brand new 2.5L facelift 156 in vesuvio grey. Loved this car for 8 years. Every day was like the thrill of driving a new car. In December last year a blown head gasket prompted me to upgrade to a 3.2L silver 159 Q4.
I've looked at a lot of other cars along the way, but none of them have quite the same specialness as the Alfa Romeo.
Looking forward to sharing experiences,
