hi,new to the world of alfa's.just been and bought a 51 plate 2.0 t-spark.got to say i am impressed so far.
just a couple of niggles.
firstly when changing from second to third or from fifth to third it will not willingly go into third?could this be the gear selectors?
what is the solution?
secondly,exhaust backbox is rusted up quite badly, looks a bit of an eyesore ,is it worth fitting a stainless steel jobby?or get it replaced with like for like?also prices if anyone knows.
lastly the dreaded cambelt,its done 51k, get it done pronto or wait to next service?heard of one snapping at 19k is this a common problem with them?also which garage near to cumbria do i trust to work on my new baby.and which parts actually need changing,and do i need to sell a kidney to pay for it!!!
any info to any of these dilemmas will be received gratefully.
