newbie to alfas- bought 145 Coverleaf

Hi, am new to Alfas as always drove and competed in RWD or 4WD rally cars.
Didn't mean to buy it but engineer on base was trading it in for a new car and the price he was getting was criminal.

He owned it 7yrs and has pampered it in every way..belts done 20,000early just in case etc...

My intention was trackdays and maybe Std Prod class in 2008 depending on my times etc...but...

Advice on 145forum is to sell it as it's immaculate in Rosso Red with Black Momo leather and buy a less cared for example for a lot less money...

not decided yet as the one I have has Full Alfa and Specialist history from day one......

it'll be a shame to compete in such a good original and cared for example I have to agree, however I also am aware that to make a good competition based vehicle, a sound shell and mechanically good example is the place to start
