156 2.0 ts

Well Happy newbie

Hi , don't normally go for this sort of thing but having got myself a 156 2.0 ts with the sportpack 2 on friday and came across this site i thought why not. Bit of info on the car X plate with 67k on the clock, had the big 60k service done at 64k , thank god i never paid for that! Managed to blag the dealer into doing the cambelt as well. Having read some of your comments i'm glad i did! In the very short time i've had the car i have to say it's one of the best driving cars i've ever owned , not the fastest or the nimblest, but a brilliant combination of everything. Had a lot of money spent on it recently with discs, exhaust, air con compressor being replace among others, so hopefully all will be ok for a while at least! Though having read a lot of posts on here i won't hold my breath. Oh well at least i've got somewhere to ask people if it breaks down or should i say when it does! cheers, Jim.

Re: newbie

Dont fret Jimbo...
Many of my friends/colleagues drive German & French cars, and experience more unserviceable down-time than my Alfa.
