My first car

So after finally passing my driving test i've parked my motorbike in the garage for the winter and splashed out on my first car - a 2001 Alfa 147. I searched high and low and have probably driven just about every car on sale at the minute but as soon as I got into my alfa I knew I was gonna buy it. So ow I've got it ha anyone any advice as far as wheels and what have you go. I'm determined to keep it all tasteful cause the car is beatiful just the way it is. Would however like some new alloys and I am also considering changing the rear lights and side repeaters.

Wheels....personally I'd stick with OE 17" for upgrading.
Get some clear side repeaters if it hasn't got.....but change the rear lights at your peril

Re: My first car

Welcome.

I take it you've got 15" Elegant wheels now!?

As Alfaholic suggested, 17s look great but I'd stick with Alfa wheels if I were you. There are plenty of posts & pics about Alloys choice to give you some pointers if you do a search for them.

Re: My first car

Hi Spencer,

Good choice in the 147. I agree that it looks pretty good as bog standard. Clear side repeater can look good but it does depend on the colour of your car- which is what?

Paul.

Re: My first car

It's dark blue. Have ordered the clear side repeaters. Still debating the rear lights...but think the clear or black ones might just look daft with the colour of the colour so may just leave well enough alone.
