Well, I've got an 83 GTV-6 2.5l that I'm in the process of restoring.
I got it my Alfa right after my 17th birthday. I shipped it up from California and started to restore it. Before I got it, it was raced at a track day and the engine was blown. The PO took a 2.5l from a Milano and swapped it in after rebuilding it. The car was then driven about 500 miles to break in the rebuild, then let sit in a field for 5 years.
When I got ahold of it, it had about 90k on the odometer (doesn't work, so just a guess) and those 500 miles on the new engine. It needed lots of interior work and some "refreshing."
So far, in the interior I've: replaced the carpet, cleaned almost everything, redone the upholstery, and converted the rear seats into a "bench." I've also build a custom 2.5" exhaust from the headers back, going to a Flowmaster 40 Series muffler.
I'm saving up now for a new paint job (the clearcoat is missing on a lot of the car). I also want to put in a 3.0l supercharged v6, but that's way off in the future.
I have lots of pictures of the car here
. And I will keep updating that site as I work on the car.
