Newbie on side at last
Having used this amazing site for more weeks than I care to admit to, it appears that I am now officially on board. I purchased my first Alfa back in October 2013 having been bitten by the Alfa bug following the purchase of a Giulietta Veloce, by my son, some months earlier and then sitting in a Brera whilst on holiday in September 2013.
I had been driving company cars between the years of 1964-2010, with 2010 being my year of retirement. I will be 69 later this month - now you really can "Laugh out Loud" Our second "family" or wifes car, have included : BMC Mini, Fiat 128, three Punto`s and then a string of Clio`s the last one being a 2006 5 door 1.6vvt Privelage. A very practical, easy driving and quite quick vehicle that would have no doubt, seen me through to clog popping time but as the saying goes that everyone should own an Alfa at least once in their lifetime, I now own a 2007 GT Blackline JTS. I settled on the GT due to the looks, boot space and reasonable rear leg room. Petrol engine became the only option due to heavy clutches on the diesels-my wife just could not hack them with Knee issues Etc.
I would like to thank the Club and contributors, that have posted so much info about Alfa including all of the techy stuff that I have had to glean and learn about, especially on injectors, bushes, rattles, squeaks and all the rest and look forward to perhaps meeting some of you in the future.
Best regards to all.
