Evenin' all

Stumbled across this site by chance - drive a 147 (I'm still as chuffed with it now as I was the day I brought it - 2 years ago) and I thought maybe I should hedge my bets and get involved in a forum that that might have answers should the unthinkable happen and I have any problems. Not that that will happen - this is a fine piece of Italian engineering I'm takin' about after all!

Anywho thats enough I think - don't want to get one finger typin' RSI on my 1st post.

Re: Evenin' all

That will be no problems apart from the complete new modified front wiper linkage I had to buy after braking the old linkage replacing a chuffin' wiper blade..... don't ask - I'm still smarting and this happened 3 months ago.

New wiper blades (old type) 25.00 - two min job

Snapping wiper linkage pulling new blade on the last few milimetrs resulting in having to spend 180.00 on new modified wiper linkage/blades for the front - priceless

Mind you they do look the B#ll#cks now!

25 . Didn't think even Halfrauds charged that much. Got a pair of Bosch replacements from my local motorfactors for 12.

Thats what started the trauma in the first place - I'd brought mickey mouse 'factors blades and they squeeked/juddered like buggery.

There's nothing worse than squeeking/juddering wiper blades - 'cept maybe coffing up 180.00 to replace the ones you just broke
