Hi, after many years of dithering, mainly due to reliability worries, I'm seriously considering purchasing a Giulietta. Thing is, I'm still dithering over which one to buy! Only do about 11k miles per year, including 3k round trip to South France each year, so not sure if diesel would be sensible. I quite like the sound of the MultiAir with TCT but it comes back to reliability.
I'm currently on my 2nd petrol turbo Skoda (sorry!), both of which have coped with my usual short journeys followed by the France trip, without missing a beat, They also give around 50mpg.
Other (better looking) half has a 500 TwinAir so, maybe you'll let me off with the Skodas!
Perhaps some of you existing owners could give me some ideas of the potential pitfalls, if any, of owning a 'new gen' (ie reliable) Alfa.
Also, is the 1.6 JTDM quick enough if I went diesel. Is the TCT MultAir performance and mpg as good as I've read?
To be honest, the dithering is all about the fact that I've always wanted an Alfa; just worried that I'll feel 'let down'.
Any advise/guidance appreciated
